Opening of Microsoft Turkey Office Fit-out Projects in Istanbul and Ankara have been celebrated.
 

Following the completion of Microsoft Istanbul Office in October 2008 which was the MEA Head Quarter Office of Microsoft, IMS completed the Project Management of 1,614 m2 Microsoft Ankara Office in April 2009. The new office includes Microsoft Innovation Centre supported by government.

Microsoft Istanbul Office was opened in Levent region, after their 13 years presence in Barbaros Plaza. The 8,546 M² free standing property was an abandoned retail mall project and successfully renovated into a showcase commercial office. 

Volkan Kocabalkan, Projects Director of IMS, said: “We were under pressure due to the time constraint and we had a very risky work schedule which we had to follow delicately; so we did without putting value engineering aside”. The project was managed in accordance with the international standards and the construction was carried out by local companies. Kocabalkan added: “Besides the comprehensive communications that we have provided, Microsoft’s strong leadership is another key factor for the success of the project.”
